mum and I went shopping last night for college. didn't get much (read: anything) for college, actually, but I DID get three more pairs of jeans. ^---^ which I desperately need, seeing as I only had three that I would really wear, and I couldn't FIND one of the pairs... got another pair the day before, too. I am currently wearing a nice, new pair of camouflage pants. ^^ which, for some reason, is becoming popular once again. I'm like...wtf?
anyhoo.
I spent several hours yesterday downloading the first five volumes of the naruto manga from narutofan. I waffle them dearly, at the moment. ^^ actually downloaded volume 6 this morning, too...

yeah, currently mega-uber-naruto obsessed. --; it's pathetic, really. caitlin (at work) currently has to rely on ramen for meals for the next two weeks, and my response to that (even though it was because she had forgotten to pay last month's rent) was "dude! that's awesome! you're like naruto!" ...= =;;; yeah.
rosie and I had to shovel out and de-snow the volvo today. the volvo that's been sitting there for several years. apparently, someone's going to be coming to pick it up soon. my thoughts on this? OHTHANKGOD!

I go away to college next week. we're actually driving up to maine on sunday (NEXT week), staying in a motel that night, and then I'm moving into my dorm on monday. I start classes on tuesday. I got some more stuff from UMF last saturday (before new years, although I neglected to mention it in my last entry), and it's info like...
my roommate (currently, I don't have one, but that may change), the building my dorm's in, the size room (fortunately, I have a double; I was afraid I might get a triple or quadruple), things to bring/not bring... etc. so we're going a little crazy college shopping-wise. huh. I hope my roommate doesn't mind bright colors, mismatching, or anime/japanese stuff, 'cause...if they do, we're both fucked. x.x I don't want to deal with bitching about it, but I am NOT giving it up just because some stupid bitch wants me to.
speaking of anime.
I did a little me-shopping at borders, yesterday. got myself a calendar (keith parkinson, who does the cover art for terry goodkind's "sword of truth" series), a couple manga (deathnote 3, naruto 1, and furuba 9), a mercedes lackey book that just came out in paperback ("to light a candle", number two in a series she's working on with someone whose name I can't remember), and the REAL chronicles of narnia soundtrack. ^----^ while there, I also bought li ling po volume 1 for rosie's birthday, 'cause I never got her anything.
hm...I think that's it, for now.
