this layout features Yagami Raito (Light) and L (a.k.a. Ryuugi and Ryuuzaki, neither of which are his real name as far as we're aware of), from Takeshi Obata (creator of Hikaru no Go) and Tsugumi Ohba's Deathnote. gradient made by me, textures default. fonts used are Porcelain, Quake, Evanescence (yes, the font used by the band; it's in the lyrics), Anything You Want, and Redensek. lyrics from the song "imagine", written by John Lennon and covered (at least the version I was listening to while making the layout) by A Perfect Circle.

Imagine there's no countries,
It isnt hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
living life in peace...
Imagine no possesions,
I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man,
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
You may say I'm a dreamer,
but I'm not the only one,
I hope some day you'll join us,
And the world will live as one."

so...yeah.
I have decided, since I'm randomly saving livejournal avatars, that I might as well put them to use. ^^ so, instead of my oh-so-pretty avatars that I make (::sniffle::), I will use an icon that catches my momentary interest.
...since I am reading kakairu fanfiction it is a kakairu avatar. ^^;
uhm...I had something to say, but I've forgotten it. --; oh well, I'll think of it later.
I was accepted to another blog crew. ^^ a gravi one, actually. AND!!! I am K-SAN! BOOYAAAAAAAAA! ::dances:: GO ME! GO ME! GO ME!

uhm...something else, something else...
oh yeah! ^^
HAPPY NEW YEARS!
we had lots of fun, 'cause we all went to first night worcester. daddums and myra actually performed, so we watched them, and then we caught the last twenty minutes of a bluegrass show and watched about 45 minutes of this wicked awesome cajun group. "steve reilly and the something-or-other playboys". ::grin:: they were WICKED good. ^^ then we watched the fireworks. in the snow. can we say shpiffeh? ^^
yesterday was rosie's 15th birthday (go wish her a happy birthday, dammit! ^^). we had lots of fun, 'cause nen-nen slept over sunday night. we spent a couple of hours gloating over our new media devices (my mp3 player and her ipod), listening to music from her ipod while I ripped her CD's onto my computer and laptop. ^^ then we watched moulin rouge, and played about half an hour of an old game of hours, "le menu cafe". ^^ heh. said with a deliberately cheesy french accent.
THEN...I had to go to bed, 'cause I had work yesterday. I was crying yesterday morning I was so depressed. = =;
but anyhoo.
fortunately, work went by very quickly. during our lunchbreak, we went to the greendale mall and shopped for rosie's birthday.
then, we went out to dinner at t.g.i. friday's, and went to go see king kong.
OMG, it was fricking AWESOME. the scenery was absolutely incredible, and the actors were great. naomi watts was absolutely gorgeous in the movie. ^^ and king kong looked so real...andy serkis (who did the motion for him), actually spent several months in africa watching gorillas in the wild, so he moved like a real gorilla. it was hard to believe that king kong was actually fake. ^^ there were two scenes that had me absolutely BAWLING in the theaters, though. one where they were trying to capture him (he kept on reaching out to naomi watts's character, and was knocked completely unconscious when his hand was about half a foot away from her), and then end, when he died. it was just...omg. ;_____;
but the movie was SO FUCKING AWESOME. there are no words to describe how good it was.
then again...
peter jackson was the director. they had richard taylor and weta doing all the creature and character design. (weta did lord of the rings and narnia). and james newton howard did the soundtrack (peter pan, snow falls on cedars, etc.).
^^
uhm...
I think that's it for now.
baibai! ^^
