so this entry is going to be something rosie and I decided to do last night while waiting to fall asleep. we both had so much random crap running through our heads (images, memories, thoughts, songs...) that we decided to put them in a diary entry. ^^ she, of course, is going to be putting hers in HER diary, however.
so.

AJA'S RANDOM THOUGHTS WHILE WAITING TO FALL ASLEEP ON THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS:

Aja walks into Ms. Krantz's class during eighth grade. "Ohayo!" Ms. Krantz says. Aja stares in confusion, because she pronounced it like Ohio. Glances at the class, then back at Ms. Krantz.
Greatly confused, she hazards, "...Iowa?"

all right, this one requires a bit of explanation. ^^; I was working one day, editing bad addresses in the database, when I saw someone named phyllis something-or-other. so I start thinking about what a nickname for phyllis could be, and I come up with PHIL. (which is what's actually used, btw) and the name phyllis remind me of Queen Fyllis from Mercedes Lackey's Brightly Burning (wonderful bug, btw, you NEED TO READ IT! ::twitch:: ::shameless plug::). so the following scene popped into my head at work, and I burst out laughing hysterically. at WORK, mind you.
Queen Phyllis and husband sit on their thrones, holding court.
A cheeky little kid wanders by, and shouts, "HEY, Queen PHYL!"
Queen Phyllis twitches, turns the color of a tomato, and screams, "OFF WITH HIS HEAD!"

The scene: evil villian's lair, much like one in a James Bond movie. (which may have been what spawned this, 'cause we watched two days of the marathon ^^;)
The villain is loading up the good guy in a torpedo, and is planning to shoot him through the wall and whatever else is in that direction. The chute (...-thing) is over an indoor lake.
The villian fires the torpedo—
—and the torpedo just nose-dives into the water.
