this layout features Yagami Raito (Light) and L (a.k.a. Ryuugi and Ryuuzaki, neither of which are his real name as far as we're aware of), from Takeshi Obata (creator of Hikaru no Go) and Tsugumi Ohba's Deathnote. gradient made by me, textures default. fonts used are Porcelain, Quake, Evanescence (yes, the font used by the band; it's in the lyrics), Anything You Want, and Redensek. lyrics from the song "imagine", written by John Lennon and covered (at least the version I was listening to while making the layout) by A Perfect Circle.

Imagine there's no countries,
It isnt hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
living life in peace...
Imagine no possesions,
I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man,
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
You may say I'm a dreamer,
but I'm not the only one,
I hope some day you'll join us,
And the world will live as one."

I'm excited. ^^ and hyper. (...and tired.)
......and am currently rocking out to the song I'm listening to while sitting in my chair. ::sweatdrop::
ANYHOO.
this weekend's the craft center's november craft fair, and rosie and I worked today and will tomorrow. I worked all day yesterday. ...most of the day is spent on our feet. she and I actually spent 3 hours today selling raffle tickets. THREE HOURS. ON OUR FEET. needless to say, three hours is too long and my body hurts from my hips down. but other than that, it's fun. ^^
I bought a coupla things for myself today. a pair of black gloves with thick red trim, and a hand-woven wool hat, black with streaks of lime green and burnt orange. my dad looked at it and said "are you planning a trip to siberia?" because it looks like a russian hat. ^^ 'tis mucho nifteh. rosie and I also bought mommalus and aunt joan their gifts (a pair of earrings and matching necklace for each of them. mum's was lime green, and aunt joan's was pink ('cause she's always complaining about not having enough pink jewelry), made of polymer clay).
after the craft fair today we went to the solomon pond mall, where we both stopped at hot topic and bought a coupla shirts. rosie got herself and I (for my christmas gift, 'cause they didn't have any sizes we could share) a shirt that said "will work for anime" (click here to see it. I'd actually do the interactive zoom to get the best look at it) and I got a hellsing shirt that I've never seen before. ^^ (CLICK ME, DAMMIT!) mommalus also bought me a Clannad CD ("Clannad 2"), which I will be receiving at Christmas. ^.^
so yeah. that's why I'm both excited and hyper.
it was really funny though, 'cause when we were in filene's (and you won't believe it, they actually had DECENT CHRISTMAS MUSIC! ::faints from shock:: ...for a song or two, at least.), a pop version of "all I want for christmas" came on. well, rosie and I looked at each other and immediately got the MCR version stuck in our heads, and I was rocking out to it in the middle of the store, headbanging and everything. ^.^ it was fucking awesome, 'cause everybody was staring at me like I was a lunatic.
and there was this "gangsta" dude at the entrance to the christmas thing who shouted something along the lines of "the lord loves you!" while we were walking by. well, I just kinda gave them a funny look as we passed, and this other "gangsta" kid asked me "what, don't you go to church?" and I just burst out laughing. it was fucking hilarious. rosie and I started making fun of them, talking about church gangstas and gangsta churches. it was great. ^^
hm...
I think that's it for now. I have a slightly more depressing entry-material, but I'll save that for later. I'm too hyper to want to spoil the mood.
