::bounce:: hallelujah (lock and load! ^^; ...oops.)! there was SUNLIGHT and BLUE SKY today! it was SO awesome. kyle-kun and I actually took a short walk down to the dam and river to see what it was like. it was absolutely incredible, no exaggeration. the sound was phenomenal, and the ENTIRE dam, all the way to the end of the stone wall by the road, was overflowing. the river had probably expanded a total of 30 feet, and basically the entire thing was white-water rapids. and kyle-kun pushed me into a puddle. and then kicked water at me. and threw an acorn at me. it hit my boob DEAD ON. and kept on throwing piles of leaves into the air. the sound they made when they landed was nifty. ^.^ and we did a lot of play pushing in the street. it was fun. ^.^
yesterday at work was actually pretty good, too. I will, of course, save the best for last. ^.^
I actually spend most of the day helping out candice and melissa with the new gallery show, typing up artist labels and price lists and such. it was nice, 'cause I got to move around a lot more than I normally do. candice and I are also going out on monday and buying things we need for the show.
I also modeled a coat and scarf for an article in some local magazine (the worcester quarterly, actually). it was really funny, 'cause I had originally just changed my shirt into a very pretty silk spaghetti-strap tank top, wearing the coat over it. well, the guy wanted me to change my pants so I wasn't wearing jeans. meaning I had to take off my combat boots (which, let me tell you, those are a pain in the ass to take off and put back on) and walk around in my socks. and it was a little awkward, 'cause the photo shoot was actually done in the main lobby and people kept on walking by and looking at us strangely. ^^
and now, for the best.
which, of course, has to do with alex. ^^;
he stopped by around 5, about half an hour before we left. I showed him how to run a letter through the postage machine (which, apparently, he's incompetent at ::grin::), and he talked a little bit with mommalus then wandered off to talk to david. then he, david, amy and mommalus kinda coagulated (...ew.) in front of the office door, and I eventually joined them. mommalus made some comment about owing alex, and he looked at her and said, "I owe you." and then something about how he thought he'd always owe her, and she was one of his favorite people. and then...HE JOKED WITH ME. ::dies:: said he owed me a little now, 'cause I showed him how to use the postage machine, and I might get up their on his list of favorite people. I was like... ::OMG DIES!:: (...except only in my head) and then everyone wandered off and I waited for mommalus to finish using the bathroom so we could leave, and alex wandered back in just as she did with a whole armful of glass tubes. asked me, since we were leaving at the same time, if I could hold the door open for him. and when we got outside and complained about the rain, he turned and grinned and said "it's never gonna stop!" I was like... ::OMG DIES!::
on our way home mommalus and I did a little shopping. ^.^ first off, we stopped at lowe's 'cause she had to get some Tungs oil and a paint brush and stripping gloves for her current project in refinishing. sounds boring, ne? well, we have fun in there. first, we looked at the washers and dryers (and DAMN, they had some nice ones!) then we looked at the paint color samples for a while (which I have ALWAYS loved doing). then we looked at chandeliers and ceiling-fan lights. had fun. ^^ and there was this really pretty one that looked like something Elves would make, all elegant curves and stuff. but we had fun. ^^
...yeah, I'm a normal 18-year-old girl.
ANYHOO.
then we went to barnes & noble, where I bought petshop 10 (thus the last entry. ^^;) and the book listed up top as what I'm currently reading.
hm...we stopped at trader joe's real quickly to buy dog food, and then went dinner-shopping at shaw's.
overall, yesterday was fun. ^^
today, rosie and I went to the mall with kyle-kun (his older sister drove us). we had to take the highway 'cause rte. 20 was flooded. ^^; (...feckin' rain) anyhoo. we stopped at hot topic and then spent a while in waldens. got a whole SHITLOAD of manga. let's see... kyle-kun got naruto vol. 2 for himself and rurouni kenshin 1 for lindsay (whose birthday party is next weekend). rosie got naruto 2 for lindsay, and then for herself got angel sanctuary 10, d.n.angel 9, and tsubasa 6. let's see... I got s-CRY-ed 6, model 1, hellsing 5, and alichino 2. ...I payed for all of them, although kyle-kun gave me 20 bucks to cover his. in total, I blew off almost 90 bucks. ^^;
...yeah, DEFINITELY not telling mommalus about that.
anyhoo.
rosie went out to some thing with tara today. and, for some reason beyond my comprehension, kyle-kun wanted to stay with me and help me clean the house.

but we had fun. ^^
after rosie got back we goofed off in the kitchen while watching TV, and then got kicked out when daddums started making dinner. so we hung out in our room, listening to music and basically playfully beating each other up. kyle knocked rosie off the bed, and then ME on top of her (fortunately, I managed to maneuver myself so I landed NEXT to her). I swiped out, afterwards, with my hand and accidently clawed his neck. gave him a titty twister when he pinched my side. accidentally kicked him in the balls. ^^; but we had fun.
he left about 10.
