this layout features Yagami Raito (Light) and L (a.k.a. Ryuugi and Ryuuzaki, neither of which are his real name as far as we're aware of), from Takeshi Obata (creator of Hikaru no Go) and Tsugumi Ohba's Deathnote. gradient made by me, textures default. fonts used are Porcelain, Quake, Evanescence (yes, the font used by the band; it's in the lyrics), Anything You Want, and Redensek. lyrics from the song "imagine", written by John Lennon and covered (at least the version I was listening to while making the layout) by A Perfect Circle.

Imagine there's no countries,
It isnt hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
living life in peace...
Imagine no possesions,
I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man,
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
You may say I'm a dreamer,
but I'm not the only one,
I hope some day you'll join us,
And the world will live as one."

well, happy autumn! I TOTALLY forgot to mention it.
::sigh:: I really don't LIKE fall. =___=; s'too cold! I've been freezing my ass off for the past MONTH. x.x
anyhoo.
I finished the book I was reading yesterday. Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. hilarious as all hell, you have NO idea. a little review on teh cover should give you one, though: "The Apocalypse has never been funnier." it had me cracking up the entire time. and now, I feel the need to go read Good Omens fanfiction, because Crowley fucking Aziraphale blind is a nice image. ^^
right.
I've been thinking about putting up a section for reviews I write on different things on night-singer, like books and artists and movies and stuff. what do you think? 'cause there's certainly enough stuff I have that I could review...hm. maybe I'll even take requests?
sigh.
we're going to water's farms today. it's basically just a little miniature festival on some guy's farm, where they have music, shopping, and all sorts of stuff. it's fun, really. I'm all excited. ^.^ and they have WICKED good apple pie. unfortunately, I'm going to have to bundle up in like...a millions layers of clothing, 'cause I'm freezing. again. sigh.
okay, I'm fucking pissed at david, from the craft center. he came into the office on...thursday, I think? told me he had a volunteer job for me, with the same look on his face that he'd had when he asked me to clean the fridge (yeah, let me tell you. that was DISGUSTING). you know what he wanted me to do? CLEAN THE KITCHEN. INCLUDING, other people's dishes. I was like, no fucking way. I do that enough at home, I was NOT doing it at work. 'course, I didn't say that out loud 'cause mommalus would have killed me, I just shook my head and said "no". FORTUNATELY (especially for me, 'cause I would quite seriously have WALKED all the way home to avoid doing it), mommalus said she wouldn't let him do that to me. I haven't spoken to david since then.
anou...
the new season of smallville started on thursday. AWESOME episode (his crystal get-away-from-it-all place is fucking GORGEOUS), although I'm really pissed 'cause towards the end of last season rosie and I always had something else to do and we didn't get to SEE it. >.<#
eeto...
I think that's it for now. it's rosie's turn on the computer.
